Как проводится конкурс

When applying for the Competition, applicants select up to four specialties and/or qualifications (except for applicants applying to pedagogical and medical specialties, who select up to four specialties and/or qualifications within one training area of technical and vocational education and training (TVET)) in accordance with the Classifier of specialties and qualifications of technical and vocational, post-secondary education, approved by the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic, up to four TVET organizations approved by the Commission for the allocation of the state order for the training of specialists in TVET, the language of instruction (Kazakh, Russian, English), and the level of education.

To participate in the Competition, applicants with basic secondary education (9 grades) submit an application from June 25 to August 18 of the calendar year; applicants with general secondary, technical and vocational, and post-secondary education submit an application from June 25 to August 20 of the calendar year.

The Competition is conducted by the information system of the Department of Education through the automated distribution of applicants based on the average competitive score of grades in compulsory and specialized subjects in accordance with the education document. The automated distribution of applicants is carried out by the information system (IS «AZAMAT») designated by the Department of Education.

— on the basis of basic secondary education under the state order – from August 19 to August 22 of the calendar year,

— on the basis of basic secondary education on a fee-paying basis – from August 26 to August 28 of the calendar year,

— on the basis of general secondary education, on the basis of TVET – from August 22 to August 25 of the calendar year,

— on the basis of general secondary education, on the basis of TVET on a fee-paying basis – from August 26 to August 28 of the calendar year.

for applicants with basic secondary education (9 grades) – from grades/scores in three subjects: the compulsory subject (Kazakh language or Russian language), and two subjects related to the specialty profile.

for applicants with general secondary education (11 grades) – from grades in four subjects: compulsory subjects (Kazakh language or Russian language, History of Kazakhstan) and two subjects related to the specialty profile.
